Once Upon A Gingerbread Village!
Calling all community members- supermarkets, bakeries, scout troops, chefs, schools, everyday cooks, and Gingerbread Enthusiasts! It’s the time of year when the Discovery Center starts thinking about our holiday displays so put on your aprons and your baker’s hat to whip up a batch of gingerbread for this year’s holiday exhibit, Once Upon A Gingerbread Village!
Anyone can participate! From children to adults to individuals, businesses, or groups. Use your imagination and creativity to bake and decorate a gingerbread creation based on your favorite children’s book as you make a little magic for this oh, so yummy, holiday display. All participants are invited to our Grand Opening on Binghamton’s First Friday Art Walk (our First Friday Free Admission Night) , December 4, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. Entries must be submitted by Monday, November 30, 2026. For registration and instructions follow the link below or call 607-773-8661 x208.
