The Discovery Center has been my home away from home for over 20 years and every day gives me joy to see children explore, discover and grow as they play in the Museum and Story Garden. Books are included in every exhibit, both inside and out, with the purpose of children experiencing the joy of reading and storytelling. It allows children to imagine other worlds and adventures or learn about insects or fishing all while playing and pretending.
Your contribution to our annual Read-a-Thon will help us continue to keep the world of books alive for children and keep reading as a building block in a child's growth. Your help will allow us to purchase new books for the Museum and Story Garden.
