The Discovery Center is a children's museum, a magical place nestled into a hillside on the southside of Binghamton, NY where children and their families come to play. Play is the most important job children have because as they play, they learn about the world around them. Reading also opens up new worlds to children and lets their imaginations soar. Our Story Garden provides a perfect place for children to imagine a pirate adventure, a visit to the Three Bears' House, a ride on a tractor and so much more as they experience the pages of books. Reading to children and teaching them to read is the basic building block to their future education. Won't you help us continue our mission of providing a safe place where children can explore and be inspired, enriched and educated as they play? Help us open up new worlds for our children to discover!

The Discovery Center is a children's museum, a magical place nestled into a hillside on the southside of Binghamton, NY where children and their families come to play.
