Celebrate National Reading Month with the Discovery Center's Read-A-Thon

I am excited to participate in The Discovery Center's 3rd Annual Read-A-Thon! This year the Read-A-Thon will be held virtually on Saturday March 5th, Read Across America Day! Reading is such a gift to children of all ages (even the big ones like me) and allow for every reader and listener to learn, experience something new, and use their imagination. Know what else inspires all of those wonderful, transformative skills? The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier! See how I did that there?!
At The DC, children of all ages participate in hands-on learning, imaginative play, and social exploration. Here, children have the opportunity to play, create, experiment, and take risks in a safe, fun setting. It is a place where children are exposed to the joy that learning brings.
I am a proud donor of the Read-A-Thon fundraiser. In addition, I am excited to be a featured reader again, book to be determined by YOU the donors!
This year when any person donates, I am asking for you to also leave a comment with a book reading suggestion. It can be a childhood favorite, a classic, a recommended author. All donations received by February 5th will be entered and the book will be selected randomly!
