Discovery Center Read-A-Thon

For my first Discovery Center Read-A-Thon Friday April 14th, I will be reading the bilingual book "Quinito, Day and Night" by the Puerto Rican writer Ina Cumpiano. This book celebrates Latinx talents, such as the illustrator José Ramírez, by including an English and Spanish translations of the story. I chose this book as a Spanish speaker myself because I think it is a great introduction to those who haven't heard the beautiful language of my culture, as well as including the English translation so comprehension is not lost.
