I know that reading to an infant from birth can help develop babies' brains and language skills as well as build emotional bonds, so reading is an essential practice for all new mommies, daddies and grandparents!
Though my children and granddaughter no longer live in the area, I am committed to the cause of literacy, education, and to the mission of the Discovery Center. Though I haven't brought my children to the Discovery Center in a long time now, I know that the Center is an excellent place for kids to not only play, but to discover the world around them while they build knowledge and discover a love of learning!
I encourage anyone who comes across my page to donate whatever you can to the Discover Center to help our children in the Southern Tier develop a passion for reading and learning! My goal for my page is $250 but any donation will be most appreciated!
