Hello! I am a passionate Educator of elementary aged students and have been for the last 8 years. I have taught in the Binghamton City School District and most recently in the Vestal Central School District. I live in Vestal with my husband, Chris and our Labradoodle named Bella. I became a member of the Board of Directors because I wanted to continue to utilize that passion to educate beyond the four walls of my classroom. What better place to do this than the Discovery Center! I believe in the mission of the DC and know it is important to continue to provide hands-on exploration for our youngest minds! I will be reading my favorite book from my childhood, "The Pain and the Great One" by Judy Blume and sharing a fun personal story that grew my love for this book even more as an adult! Please consider donating to this Read-A-Thon fundraiser to continue to support and sustain the legacy that the Discovery Center has in Broome County and beyond! If I receive a donation from one person of over $50, I will include (and engage!) my little furbaby Bella while I read. Thank you for your support!

Hello! I am a passionate Educator of elementary aged students and have been for the last 8 years. I have taught in the Binghamton City School District and most recently in the Vestal Central School District. I live in Vestal with my husband, Chris and our Labradoodle named Bella.
