Please support Marianne Taylor's Birthday Wish Fundraiser through the Discovery Center Read-A-Thon

Thanks for your interest in my fundraiser birthday wish. This year I am participating in a Read-A-Thon fundraiser for the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier.
Like many non-profits and businesses, the Discovery Center has been impacted by the pandemic and is in need of financial support during these uncertain times. To date, the museum must remain closed and continues to lose all revenue that supports the facility and the free outdoor Story Garden. The funds raised by this fundraiser will be used to provide quality childcare and summer camps for kids of essential workers and those returning to the workplace.
The Discovery Center museum and the Story Garden are magical places where imaginations come alive. The Story Garden is extra special to me and my family; working with The Garden Girls and with much support from my family and the community, we turned what was once a grassy island into the lush and whimsical free garden space it is today that is enjoyed by thousands each year.
The Discovery Center and Story Garden are part of our family history in the Southern Tier and keeping it alive and vibrant is one of my birthday wishes. I would be most grateful for your support of my fundraising efforts for the Read-A-Thon through a donation of any amount to help me reach my goal of $250 (I thought I would be clever and use the number of days I will be alive on my birthday but I think $21,170 is a bit too ambitious for my goal - lol!).
Read-A-Thon participants create videos reading one or more of their favorite children's books. These videos will be compiled and streamed on YouTube on July 18, 2020 as part of a virtual reading marathon to support The Discovery Center.
Inspired by William Wegman’s books and videos that feature his beautiful Weimaraner dogs as characters in re-telling stories, you may see Aggie the German Wirehaired Pointer make her debut in my video.
