Our children have been enthralled by the Discovery Center since its founding 40 years ago, and now we bring our grandchildren and grandnieces and nephews. Our daughter Leah's birthday party was the first held here! Our favorite part is the imaginative and beautifully conceived Storybook Garden, where new wonders spring from the ground and from the minds and shovels of the many dedicated volunteers and staff. Visitors from around the country have told us that this is the best children's "museum" (the furthest thing from it!) they've ever visited. We're proud to have been supporters all these years and that Grandma Debby was one of the original Imagination Builders working with the Junior League to bring it into being. It has never stopped expanding in the most marvelous ways. I'm delighted to be able to share these storybooks with you, and I hope that you in turn will contribute generously to this great........well, what is it? An institution, an organization, a grand conception.....mmmmm, great what? GREAT FUN, THAT'S WHAT IT IS, FOR ALL THE CHILDREN of Broome County and beyond!
