Although I have been visiting the Discovery Center for years, both with my children and now my grandchildren, I have an ever increasing admiration for the Center now that I am a proud member of the Discovery Center Foundation Board. What an amazing place! For so many years, I have taken this wonderful facility for granted, always knowing it is there for me, my family members, and for my community, ready to enrich the lives of so many children. Young people are given the opportunity to learn while having hands-on fun in their favorite exhibits.
Now, the Discovery Center is facing financial challenges due to the many issues surrounding the coronavirus. I want to help, and I invite you to join me. I am so pleased to be reading amazing children's literature, while reaching out to you for monetary support. Whether you give $5 or $500, I am most grateful for you help. I am reading two books, "the alphabet tree" and "It's Mine!", both written by Leo Lionni. They are beloved books that have such relevance to our lives today.

Although I have been visiting the Discovery Center for years, both with my children and now my grandchildren, I have an ever increasing admiration for the Center now that I am a proud member of the Discovery Center Foundation Board. What an amazing place! For so many years, I have taken this wonderful facility for granted, always knowing it is there for me, my family members, and for my community, ready to enrich the lives of so many children.
