Reading for Fun is Worthwhile

My name is Maureen Hankin and I have the distinct honor and pleasure of being recently appointed to the Discovery Center Board of Directors. During the day, I oversee the SUNY Broome Community College Dental Hygiene Department and campus-based clinic. I also am blessed to co-teach the SUNY Broome Health for Haiti and Global Health in Ireland global service-learning courses. We serve hundreds of children enhancing literacy competency through health initiatives. I’m excited to read most loved children’s books on April 6th for our 5th Annual Read-A-Thon.
